Designed by the Italian sculptor Mario Ceroli as part of the Mobili Nella Valle series for Poltronova in 1972. This furniture series was inspired directly by Giorgio de Chirico’s 1927 painting of the same name.

This chair playfully combines an ergonomic seat and back with an organic, branch-like frame. Ceroli produced this in raw Russian pinewood and features the artist signature and manufacturers mark.

This chair has been authenticated by the Archives and Research team at the Poltronova headquarters, Firenze, Italy.
