Gaetano Pesce, ‘I Feltri’ Chair, Cassina, Italy, 1987
H130 W73 D66cm
According to Pesce, they tell a story that is very dear to him: that of the indissociable unity between innovative content and novel materials and technique. This high-backed version was conceived as if it were a piece of clothing.
I Feltri is made out of thick woollen felt partially impregnated with polyester resin, shaped on a mould, and painted with a spray gun.
This example is in candy red felt and Texas tea coloured cushion, which can be removed and replaced.
