Yang, one among a series of lamps crafted by Scottish designer Morga in 1986, produced by Bieffeplast, and introduced at Euroluce, Milan, in the same year.

The connection between two opposing elements is represented by the archetypes of male and female, culminating in the universal symbol of Yin and Yang.

The Yang floor lamp was acquired by the National Museum of Scotland for the Contemporary Art and Design Collection and is part of their permanent collection.

This example in black has a red illuminating tip at the base and warm light at the top.
